QR Code Generator

Enter a link or some text and your QR code appears instantly. It never expires.

How to use it

  1. Enter the website address or text you want in the QR code. The code appears on the right as you type.
  2. Adjust the size and colors if you like. For print, choose 1024px or larger, or use SVG.
  3. Download with Save PNG or Save SVG, then point your phone camera at it to make sure it scans.

PNG or SVG?

PNG is a regular image, so it works anywhere: messaging apps, documents, social media. SVG is a vector image that stays sharp at any size, which makes it ideal for banners, posters and business cards.

What is error correction?

It is the amount of redundant data added so the code still scans when part of it is covered or smudged. A higher level is more robust but makes the pattern denser. Medium is enough for most uses; pick Very high if you plan to place a logo in the center.

FAQ

Do the QR codes expire?

No. Your content is encoded directly into the QR code, so it keeps working even if this site disappears. The flip side is that you can't change the link afterwards, so double-check the address before you create it.

Can I use non-English text, like Korean?

Yes. Any characters, including Korean and other non-Latin scripts, can be encoded and are read correctly by modern phone cameras.

My QR code won't scan.

Use a dark QR color on a light background. Inverted colors or low contrast often fail to scan. Keep the quiet zone on, and when printing make the code at least 2 cm (about 0.8 in) wide.
